I coloured this little Space Explorer a couple of weeks ago for the MFT colour challenge but didn't have time to make a card. So I'm using him in the current sketch challenge instead:
CAS-ual Friday's have a colour challenge featuring pinks and greys this week. I hadn't realised it finished in an hour, so I had to whip this one up really fast:
Luckily I'd coloured the sweet little girl from MFT's Warmest Wishes at the weekend. I set it against a die cut frame from PTI, added a few sparkly snowdrops and snowdrifts and it was done in about 20 minutes! Another Christmas card down...ten to go...
I inked the Poinsettia layers to give some definition and added a couple of leaves from PTI's Doodlie - Do. Yes I know, they're not really like Poinsettia leaves but they fitted the gold embossed circle so much better!
Not much time to get inky this week as the kidlets have been on school holidays - I did manage one card though for CAS-ology. The cue word is 'punctuation:'
I used CAS-ual Friday's now retired WTF for this one - I created a rainbow pattern using the question mark stamp and then added a couple of sentiments from the same set. Very easy!
Just sneaking in with a couple of cards - one for MFT's Colour Challenge, combined with freshly Made Sketches and the other for CAS-ual Friday's Sketch Challenge:
I used Warmest Wishes for the first, together with Wood Plank background. Not the best photo but I might try and get a better one in the daylight tomorrow. For the CAS-ual Friday's card I die cut some Funky Snowflakes and used a sentiment from Snowy Sayings.
