Muse #5

Hello bloggers!

Time for a bit more Muse inspiration with this lovely card by Marion Vagg:

What a great way to use washi tape...but since I only have 2 rather dull coloured rolls in my collection, I'm not sure they'd create the same effect.  Instead I was inspired by the bright colours, the stripes and the bold, black sentiment. I had a play around with some My Minds Eye lace stamps together with a solid Jenni Bowlin stamp and made a couple of cards.  I asked the bloke of the house which he likes best and he helpfully said 'either.'  So I'll leave it up to you to decide....

Looking forward to seeing how you've been inspired!

Thanks for stopping,

Claire x

  2. Gorgeous! They are both fantastic, love the bold black of the first one. The second one is fun with the star extending beyond the cardstock panel. Both are packed full of inspiration!

  3. Both cards are really terrific. I don't think I can pick a favorite. At first, I really liked the first one because the washi design could be seen through the "shadow" of the girl, but I love how the second one has the star mostly off the white paper. so either way, I think you have a winner!!

  4. They are both precious! I think my FAV is the first just because of the black background, it really helps the color pop! ADORABLE!
