CAS Creations

Hello folks,

A couple of CAS cards tonight - the first is for Less is More's dreaded one layer challenge - to use flowers. Yet again I despair of my one layer skills...one layer cards just look so....flat.  I used CAS-ual Friday's Truth Is (now retired) - there's a little stamp in that set which hasn't seen ink so I created a rainbow pattern and added the sentiment over the top.

I was also inspired by the pic over at Fusion featuring a rainbow festooned kiddo, complete with rainbow coloured flowers:

My second card is for CAS on Friday which has a colour challenge happening, featuring orange and teal.  This time I coloured an MFT butterfly with copics and added a stamped frame and sentiment from Waltzingmouse.

Hope you get the time to get inky this weekend!

Happy stamping!

Claire

  1. Two gorgeous CAS cards Claire. You are far too critical of yourself - they certainly don't look flat!
The pretty rainbow flowers are bright and cheerful and I had to look twice at the second as I thought the frames were layered different coloured die cuts. Great makes. x

  2. Two super cards, loving the borders around your butterfly cards but the star of the post is your OLC for the theme of flowers, love the geometric layout and colours

  3. Your flowery rainbow is just so precise and beautifully composed, Claire ... gorgeously CAS (and definitely not flat-looking!) Your delicate butterfly really pops against all the white space ... the layered framing is brilliant! Hugs, Anita :)
