Waltzingmouse #118

Hello Bloggers,

Well it's a cold, blustery day here in Sydney today - perfect for sitting down and writing a blog post before picking the kidlets up from school.  Just a quickie to show you what I've done for this weeks Waltzingmouse sketch:

Is it me or does the square one look a little 'top heavy?' Hmmmm - anyway, another two Christmas cards done thank goodness. Only another 30 to go....
I've used the Seasons of Love set and the small Dainty Doiles set which I've embossed on to vellum.  I've matted the sentiment against a paper crocheted flower and matted the whole lot against some skeleton leaves.

Well, kids are calling...whatever you're doing this weekend, have a good one!

Thanks for popping by,

Claire x

  1.'s simply gorgeous!!
I love the delicate touch you used with this one in the vellum and those incredible leaves!
    That crocheted flower...
    I die!
It's so perfect to layer that fabby tag and bow onto!

  3. Whoa! This card just stopped me in my tracks! Gorgeous! Claire, this really is stunning! I love how the center of the card just pops right off the background with the bold red and kraft colors. I love the red twine behind the label and the hint of flower peeking through too. Soooo pretty!

  4. LOVE the colors on this, Claire! The embossed doily is such a pretty accent, as are those lovely soft leaves! Love how all of it layered together makes a fun medallion for the holidays!

  5. Love the colors, doily embossed on vellum, and the paper flower! Wonderful!

  6. Beautiful - the embossing on the vellum and that pop of red - this will brighten any room!
