Time Out for Time Out

Happy Valentines Day!

I've been meaning to have a go at a Time Out challenge for absolutely ages but Mr Linky always seems to close his doors before I get the chance.

This week it's a CASE challenge, based on this beautiful card by Kylie:

Isn't it gorgeous? I was tempted to copy it entirely but that's not really the point of a CASE challenge is it? I love the partial striped embossing and the tilted tag - instead of a tag I used the little Picot Panel die from Waltzingmouse, together with some die cut daisies from MFT.

Sadly, I'm still waiting for a dozen red roses to arrive at our house.....something tells me I'm in for a very long wait. Thank goodness I've a very sweet six year old son, who at this very minute is in the process of making me a Valentines Day card. I've taught him well. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the big bloke.

Thanks for stopping!Claire x

  5. This really is outstanding and shines out from the gallery at TIME OUT, Clair! I think your twist on Kylie's beautiful design is subtle, but sensational!! And I laughed out loud at - and can so relate to - your red roses comment! I'm so happy you have your sweet boy! Enjoy him while you can! As far as the 'big bloke," he feels it with his "inside" thoughts!! I'm waiting for the twinks to arrive to make me a couple of Valentines!! Happy weekend!! Hugs, Darnell

  7. Really pretty card - it really stands out in the gallery! I especially liked the tilted frames - they add so much colour and dimension. And don't worry about the lack of roses - I think that there are a few of us in that club :)
