A very old WMS stamp for this one with coloured in a rainbow of Copics. I'm amazed I was able ink up each of those CAS-ual Fridays 'Celebrate' letters individually without getting ink all over that white space!
Happy stamping!

Hello inkers,
It's almost 2 months since I made a card, my longest inky drought in years! A new full time job in a different industry has had a severe impact on the card making - there's always such a lot to take in when you start a new job and I don't think my brain is quite used to thinking so much! Having said that, I did manage to get one done for August's Altenew Inspiration Challenge:
I had some lovely new goodies from Altenew to play with including the Mini Delight: Butterfly Dreams Stamp and Die Set and the Wonderful Wreath Stencil - the background is from a 6x6 paper pad. Talk about a quick card just to get a chance to use some new stuff!
Happy stamping and here's hoping September will be a bit more productive!

Hello folks,
Can you believe it's the last ever MFT challenge? Kim's closing the doors which is such a shame as I've loved their colour and sketch challenges over the years. She's finishing appropriately with a very patriotic set of colours - having said that, I chose to make a Christmas card. Not the best photo - there's weather warnings all over the east coast of Oz at the moment so it's a very windy, dull and rainy day:
I've always loved MFT's Christmas stamp sets and it got me thinking about which is my favourite card I made after all these years. I've made a whopping 349 cards using MFT products according to my blog - way more than any other stamp company. I picked the one above as I had to wait months before the BB Merry Christmoose came back in stock. I'm so glad I managed to get my inky hands on it!
So thanks to Kim for all the wonderful products and inspiration - all the very best with what's to come!
Happy stamping!

Hello inkers,
Still not much craftiness going on in this household but here's a quick card I made for Addicted to CAS where the code word is 'water:'
Happy stamping!

I usually have a lot of white space when I make a card using Altenew stamps but the colours called for a bright, bold background with some stamping using Groovy Garden. The background was done on my Gelli plate with a light inked wash and stencilling with Altenew's Grid Stencil. I added some sparkle to the centres of the flowers for a bit of bling!
Happy stamping!

Hello again,
It's been such a busy few weeks I completely forgot to post my card for Altenew's Inspiration challenge this month:

Hello folks,
It's been a busy week with family visiting from overseas. I look forward to these visits for months in advance but saying goodbye is still hard even though I've lived in Australia for 25 years. I never know quite when I'll see loved ones again so it always takes a few days to get back into the normality of life.
And the normality is that cards need to be made, this time for Seize the Birthday's latest challenge. I'm chuffed to bits to be their surprise party guest:
Hello again,
I haven't been able to play along with Freshly Made Sketches for a while so made this card using the colours from Colour Throwdown and the prompts from Time Out (pastel and floral):
Hello inkers,
My beautiful sister-in-law celebrates her 50th birthday this month so it was a great opportunity to enter Seize the Birthday's challenge to celebrate a milestone:
Hello inkers,
It's been ages since I entered a CAS challenge - with my sports mad nephew's upcoming birthday it was just the excuse I needed to enter the masculine challenge at Addicted to CAS:
Happy stamping!

Hello again,
Time Out's celebrating 11 years of challenges with a challenge to CASE Donna's beautiful card:
I used MFT's Cloud Stencil with Distress Inks to create the background - I had the little elephant already coloured with Copics and ready to go. I just needed to find a place for him!
Happy stamping!

Hello again,
Not much happening over here - job hunting is getting in the way of card making but I guess I have to prioritise. I had just enough time to make a very simple card for February's inspiration challenge over at Altenew:
I love the colours and I wish I'd had the time to do something a little more extravagant but sometimes less is more isn't it? Lots of different products despite the simplicity - the background has been partially cut using Stacked Diamonds Cover Die and the bloom is the Open Bloom 3D Die Set. I added a few glittery, gold sprigs from the Whimsical Garden Layering Die Set and the sentiment is from Mini White Splendour. Lots of older products but as pretty as the day I got them!
Happy stamping!
