Play Date Cafe Challenge

Hi Scrappers,

This year is the year for 40th birthdays for me - including my own - so look out for heaps of 40th birthday cards in the near future. Here's one I've done for the latest Play Date Cafe Challenge. So love this challenge site, although I've never actually taken part until now. I think I spend way too much of my time drooling over all the beautiful cards, rather than attempting to make my own!
The colours for this week are -

The challenge is to make a card using mint, vanilla and juniper as your core colours -

I've stamped my own patterned paper using a Hero Arts stamp and woven some strips with some patterned paper from Papertrey Ink. Perfect for the colours in this challenge luckily!

Ok, that's one down and about another 20 to go.

Cheers and thanks for stopping by,
Claire xx

  1. Such a wonderful card Claire :) Love the ribbon with the decorative pin. A beautiful, contemporary design style too. Px

  2. Wow this is just gorgeous Claire. I love the colour scheme you have used and the design is stunning xx

  3. WOOOOOOOW! This really looks like you weaved that paper!! Great papers--love that ribbon and how you did a knot with the pin (I really need you to teach me how to do that! LOVE it!)! THANKS for joining in the fun and playing along with us over at the PDCC:)

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment - they really make my day!
