One Layer Coloured Cardbase

Hello, hello,

I made a very quick card for AAA and Less is More's combined challenge to create a one layer card on a coloured card base:

This was a bit of an experiment with Perfect Pearls - I mixed the powders with water and used them like a paint on a gold embossed Doodlie Do bloom from PTI. The sentiment's from Waltzingmouse.

Quick post for a quick card!

Thanks for stopping,

Claire x

Just editing this post as it's been pointed out by a couple of members in the LIM DT that it can't be counted as a one layer due to the panel. I thought I might get away with it rules is rules as they say...

  7. Bonjour ! So beautiful Claire ! Love the spectacular effect of the Perfect Pearls inside the gold embossing and over the black cardstock ! It looks like an embroidery ! A really stunning take on our challenge ! Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More !

  8. Beautiful flower taking center stage. Thank you for sharing with us at AAA Cards.

  9. I adore this card! It's so classy and stylish. The pearly paint looks awesome on the black. Unfortunately, it does appear that you've mounted a panel onto your card base so it won't qualify as a one layer card.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
