Hello again,
It's a rare day when I get to combine four challenges, but Autumn's brought a whole heap of pumpkin inspired pics to blogland which have helped me make this little card:
\
I've taken the colours from both the Fusion pic and The Card Concept and based it on Jen's sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. I've also been inspired by the quote at Time Out - flowers would make me happy, or at least they would if anyone bothered to buy me any....
For this clean and layered creation I dusted off my WMS Funky Flowers - I rarely seem to use my solid stamps now and seem to reach for the outline stamps so I can colour. I've white embossed the background with a W Plus 9 background type and the woodgrain is MFT.
Hope you have the time to get inky this week!

This is beautiful. Love those flowers (I think I have them, and have forgotten all about them). Such a stunning combination of flowers and wood. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Claire! Wonderful take on all the challenges. And I hear ya about the flowers - my DH gave me fake roses decades ago and said "there, now I never have to buy you flowers again!" So romantic - not!
ReplyDeleteElegant and lovely, Claire ... the subtle texture is delicious! You've made a beautiful rustic bouquet with those bold WMS blooms, the dimension is fabulous! I also have this set ... uninked for far too long! So glad to have you playing along with us at Time Out, thank you! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I love the red-blue-white combination and the wood panel make that the flowers pop just enough... Thank you for joining us at TIME OUT!

ReplyDeleteThose solid stamps in such pretty colors were the exact right choice for the sketch and the pretty woodgrain background! Your layered design is a beauty, Claire!! ❤Hugs, Darnell
