A Freshly Made Christmas Card

Good morning blogland!

Hope you're managing to have a little break from the madness that is Christmas. Yesterday the boys went to see Santa armed with a list long enough to make any parent weep! I think this may be the last Christmas of innocence for them - my eldest started kindy this year and some bright spark has already told him that Santa's not real....such a shame the magic doesn't last a little longer!

Anyway, Freshly Made have a gorgeous sketch challenge this week from Cindy:

I used my trusty waltzingmouse stamp again, this time with some black embossing powder on a gold background - it came up a treat I think.   The gold metal shim has been embossed with a Nestability folder and the beautiful paper is Alison Ellis.

Thanks for popping by,

Claire x

  1. Wow love that gold background! And the black embossing is so elegant! Thanks for joining us at FMS!

  2. Wow ... this is beautiful ... the gold, the embossing and the texture ... I bet this looks fantastic in real!
Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!!!

  3. Lovely card Claire. Love the wet embossed star and the dry embossed shim, and that paper is just gorgeous. Bet this looks even better in real life.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment - they really make my day!
