Hello folks!,
It's late, I'm tired and there's a burger waiting with my name on it so here's a quick card based on the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches:
Two of my other favourite challenges - AAA Cards and CAS-ual Fridays - are both celebrating birthdays this week so I'm playing along over there too!
Thanks for popping by, I'm off for that burger!

very pretty and original! Thank you for joining us at our 4th birthday challenge over at AAA Cards Challenges.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the embossed vellum.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Claire. The panels set off the delicate flowers perfectly.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, Claire! This is absolutely stunning - your soft bokeh background and gorgeous embossed flowers are so very pretty and the black sentiment add the pop of drama. Love this!
ReplyDeleteI love your soft patterns behind the white flowers - a lovely, soft card! Thank you for playing along with use at Freshly Made Sketches.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous yummy colours on those strips and the vellum embossed flowers are so dainty. Thanks for linking up and joining in with AAA Cards birthday celebrations!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays.
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspired idea to use your bokeh background for those softly coloured strips, Claire ... the delicate sprigs are so gorgeous with them! Might there be a mirror image card with the rest of the bokeh?? Bon appetit! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty background with the vellum embossed flowers. So serene in the pale colors. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteCute card! Hope the burger was good ;)! Thanks for joining us at the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.
ReplyDeleteHi Claire! Love the subtle combination of colors and how the white die-cut flowers and leaves are placed on the inked panels. The bokeh background with watercolors looks interesting. Amazing take on birthday theme. Thanks for playing along with us at AAA cards. Happy crafting. Hugs - Bharati
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card! I am 14 and there is a lot that I cannot do right now but I want to. It is my parent’s anniversary next week and I took help of my uncle for booking an event space San Francisco for the party but I want to do rest of the things myself, like the decoration and making invitation cards. Thanks for sharing this idea.
