Hello fellow inkers!
I'm delighted to be guest designing for CASology's first challenge of 2020. The cue card is 'repeat:'
I feel like life is on repeat at the moment - get up, go to work, look after kids, sleep, repeat, particularly at this time of year when the kids are on Summer holidays for 6 weeks!
As you can see, the repetitive elements on my card are all those stamped circles from Winnie and Walter's Big Bang Confetti. Did you know they are closing? Such a shame - I've seen so many small stamping businesses close over the the years. Head over to the W & W website as they have lots of bargains in store.
How will you interpret the word 'repeat?' Head on over to the CASology blog for heaps of inspiration from the DT!
Thanks for stopping by,
Claire x
so good to have you as GD and on my first challenge as a DT member! As always your card is stunning, adore the soft colours you used in the background and this gives the whole card such a contrast with the black butterfly...you know how I love the drama of this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Claire!
ReplyDeleteStunning card and a beautiful way to be inspired by the cue word. Your butterfly is so delicate and your background is so interesting but not overwhelming. Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer at CASology.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your GD spot with CASology, Claire! That dainty butterfly is just perfect with the dreamy outline bubbles in the background ... so delicate! Yep, I too was so sorry to see W&W close ... one of my favourite companies. Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteIt is sad to see so many of our beloved companies closing. I just love how you interpreted the repeat prompt with the floating circles, Claire! They make a perfect background for that stunning butterfly! Congratulations on guest designing for CASology! And Happy New Year! Sounds like you need to do something unexpected to break up your "same ol'" summer routine! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThe colors & sizes of your circles form a fun and interesting background for the stunning butterfly! It's great having you guest design with us for the challenge.
