Hello folks,
I can't even remember the last time I made a masculine card but a friend gave me some of her old Kaisercraft background stamps so thought I'd ink up this vintage car from one of their stamp sets. Makes a change from flowers!
I used Joanne's layered sketch from the latest Paper Players challenge. The dp is from some very old paper pads from Authentique. I always loved their paper pads - the paper was thick, almost card like and great quality. I used one of the gifted Kaisercraft background stamps to add some texture to the blue panel and the tyre mark stamp is from the same Kaisercraft stamp set that I've had for years.
Happy stamping!
Claire
What a great masculine card....which can sometimes be a challenge! Any guy would love this vintage card, and what a fun background you created too! Thanks for playing with our sketch this week!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect masculine card, Claire! I like your layers and colors. This looks like a '57 Chevy. My brother has one!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this masculine card. Your vintage car takes me back - in a good way and I am obsessed with the polka dots behind the car! Such a great take on the challenge. So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players this week Claire

This is such a great masculine card Claire - the retro car and your combination of patterned papers and subtle diecut/texture detail is just great. Thanks for playing along with my sketch challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
