Hello, how's your week going?
Time for a three-fer with this little card:
I could have made lots of cards this week with Less is More's challenge to make a card using an item from my 'bits' box. I actually cleared out my bits box a couple of months ago and lo and behold it's full again. I'm especially good at keeping small bits of inked card which I've used here - it was blended using distress inks and embossed over the top in gold with an MFT background stamp. I die cut a stitched frame, added the butterfly and a simple, stencilled background using white primer.
Since the colours are similar to those used in The Card Concept's latest challenge I'm going to pop it over there in the clean and simple category. And the stitched frame makes it a three-fer with AAA's challenge to use a frame.
Thanks for calling by,
Claire x
How perfectly gorgeous! Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
ReplyDeleteThis is STUNNING!!! I LOVE that butterfly and the simplicity of this card. I should play with Less is More because I have a TON of bits too!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a superb design Claire! The white primer circles look fab on the background and your bit's box frame adds both a pop of colour and a look of luxury with the rich gold embossing. Your placement of the butterfly also adds interesting depth to the card too. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and I really like the design on your frame too
