Hello bloggers!
The Christmas holidays have begun here in Australia - the kidlets have finished school for the year and I have six weeks to spend being their personal entertainer! My littlest finished preschool today and I only just managed to hold it together - another milestone reached before he starts school next year.
Anyway, here's the card I made for this week's Dynamic Duos and Freshly Made Sketches:
Sorry, not the best photo as it's late so I may retake it in the morning. The Dynamic Duo colours fitted perfectly with some very old Stampin Up papers I have in my stash. Keeping with the SU theme I also used one of their older stamp sets (Eastern Blooms.)
Ok, that's all again folks...have a great day!

Wishing you happy holidays!!
What a lovely card, Claire! The sketch is kind of graphic and funky, but you made it so soft and pretty with your paper choices, background flourish and white embossed flowers. Congrats on using up some of your stash, too! And best wishes for those summer holidays (we are all envious here in the Northern Hemisphere...). Thanks for playing along with the Dynamic Duos this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty. I love your little flagged focal point--great colors and patterns.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is absolutely gorgeous! I love what you've done with the sketch. The soft colors, texture, and swirls all compliment each other perfectly. Thanks for playing with us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteBy just perusing the thumbnails over at FMS, I immediately recognized your SU Parisian Breeze papers! Love how you've used them, and how lovely your card is. I just dug through my hoard of these papers and made a bd card for a dear friend. It's nice to see bits and pieces of them still floating around! Really sweet card. Bev
