Your Next Stamp: New Release Blog Hop!

Hello inky friends!

There's a brand new release happening over at Your Next Stamp and,  to celebrate,  YNS are having a January New Release Blog Hop. There's lots of inspiration from the design team and there's the chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate, simply by making comments.  Remember, the more comments you leave, the better the chance of winning!







I used the latest sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches for the card above. It features a couple of sweet birds from the brand new Love Birds set which I coloured with Copics. For the striped borders on the left I used the Thick Stripe-tastic Diagonal Edge.  I'm loving this border - it's big and bold but for a more subtle look you can do what I've done and white emboss it on to white card stock. The splashes of ink behind the birds are from Cool Backgrounds,  released in December.

    This stamp set is so cute and I love how you've colored the images in. I was wondering what ink/paint you used to make the background splashes. They are stamped but look so natural...such a cool stamp!
