Colour Throwdown Meets Sunday Stamps

Hello again,

I was itching to have a go at the lovely, layered sketch over at Sunday Stamps , a new challenge for me, which I've combined with the colours of Color Throwdown:

Lots of different stamps used for this one - the pretty, blue doille background is WMS, with blooms from Penny Black, Wood Plank background from MFT and a sentiment from PTI. Below the wooden strip, I've white embossed a script stamp from W Plus 9 but the light was almost gone when I took the photo it's not very clear in the pic!

I'm also linking up to Just Us Girls which has a 'layers' challenge this week.

Hope you get time to get inky this week!

  1. Wow, Claire, this is stunning! Love the delicate coloring you've used for your blossoms, and that background doily is so pretty! Just gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!

  2. This is SO pretty, Claire! Thanks for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown!

  3. Loads of layers on this card Claire but somehow it still looks really clean and elegant -not easy! I love the flower spray and the way you inked the doily in a fresh blue. Vicky x

  4. Well that sketch is perfect for our layer challenge! Well done on both :) - Thanks for joining in at JUGS

  5. Claire, your card is gorgeous. Your flowers just pop of the page and I love the wood paper as an accent. So pretty! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Sunday Stamps!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment - they really make my day!
